This series begins with an introductory video giving an overview of the ECE Competencies publication that describes California’s professional standards for people working in the field of early childhood (children birth to kindergarten entry). Each of the remaining 12 videos explains a competency area which includes important comments and insights from content experts highlighting research-based best practices for the early childhood professional.
Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm, live Helpline staff will offer one-on-one support for timely, non-emergency guidance regarding specific questions or concerns related to infant, toddler and young children's social, emotional and behavioral health.
