Open-Door Sessions offer a welcoming community space for child care and early education providers across California to connect, reflect, and learn together through virtual, drop-in consultation sessions. Facilitated by IECMHC Network Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialists and Consultants, these conversations are participant-driven and shaped by the questions, experiences, and insights brought by attendees. Whether seeking support, sharing challenges, or exploring new perspectives, providers are encouraged to engage in meaningful discussion with peers in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Open-Door is a confidential space to reflect, seek supportive input, share ideas and resources, discuss development, and network within a community. Participants are encouraged to attend with questions, concerns, and challenges related to infant, toddler, and young children’s social, emotional, and health. There are 4 Community Open-Door Sessions held per month for distinct early learning communities:
- English Speaking Child Care and Early Education Providers
- Spanish Speaking Child Care and Early Education Providers
- Chinese Speaking Child Care and Early Education Providers
- Program Leaders, held in English.
