Lucy: I think that the Network has helped me to go more in-depth in how I feel about mental health in infant and toddlers, and it allows me to be able to, during my staff trainings and my staff meetings, being able to talk about that with my co-teachers and see if we can come up with plans, which is what they talked about when they did one the . . . when she came to my site to do a walk through.

That’s one of the things that she mentioned, how beneficial that would be, is to make sure that we are getting together and then trying to come up with a plan. So, I feel like the Network has really helped me to have a broader look at mental health in infants and toddlers, in that age group. And I really want to make sure I make an impact to be able to help children.

I thought that “okay, I can see that they may need some help, but it has to wait until they turn three.” Now I know that it doesn’t have to wait, so I think that’s the difference. It doesn’t have to wait. I can offer the services to the parent or try to help the child at the early stage of infant and toddler, and that’s because of the Network.
